The day we've moved into our house I wanted to paint the kitchen cabinets. But since they were new I felt guilty painting something that was perfectly livable. After 9 years, the topic of painting them has come up again and I'm trying to figure out the million dollar question - what color? So when my peeps at Bill Chill asked me to design a kitchen around their retro appliances, I call that perfect timing!
I love mixing colors and patterns and adding pops of color. With red being my new favorite color, I built my design around their Cherry Red Retro Stove.
My design calls for layering ethnic patterns in black and white with navy kitchen cabinets. The Snowy Ibiza quartz countertop allows the eye to rest, while the vintage Art Deco Stenciled Pendant picks up all the brass tones. The Cherry Red Retro Stove serves as the lipstick to complete look.
